Wear the beauty of the sea! I hand-cast this sterling silver ammonite from an actual ammonite fossil. I then soldered it to a comfortable 10-gauge half-round sterling silver band. Finally, it is polished to a high shine to show off the brilliant detail. The ammonite measures about 5/8" long and .5" wide.
Ammonites were shelled cephalopods that died out about 66 million years ago. With their spiral shape, they're considered symbols of change and positive motion. The spiral draws in negative energy, filtering it through the chambers and releasing new, positive energy.
This ring can also be made with a bronze ammonite and sterling silver band.
