I cast these sterling silver and bronze ammonites from an actual ammonite fossil. All silver is oxidized and polished to enhance detail and contrast. Soldered sterling silver posts and backs. The ammonites measure .5" in diameter.
Ammonites were shelled cephalopods that died out about 66 million years ago. ammonite. With their spiral shape, they're considered symbols of change and positive motion. The spiral draws in negative energy, filtering it through the chambers and releasing new, positive energy.
