With its beautiful patterning, this stunning oval dendritic agate gemstone reminds me of a piece of brocade fabric. It has a striking red-orange and black pattern on an ivory ground. It's bezel-set in fine silver, held by two sterling silver prongs, which I've oxidized to highlight the black in the stone. It's soldered to a comfortable half-round sterling band. Completely hand-made and one of a kind!
Dendritic Agate is known as the Stone of Plentitude. It brings abundance and fullness to all areas of life, from business to agricultural endeavors. It was associated with the ancient Greek dryads, woodland and tree spirits, and was buried in the fields at the time of sowing to insure a good harvest.
