Doll Hand Ring
A graceful little hand is carefully hand-cast in golden bronze or sterling silver from vintage doll parts using lost-wax casting. I have sculpted the hand into a band ring that is lead and nickel-free. Each ring is carefully hand-polished to achieve a high shine. I've added a metal sealant on the bronze ring to protect the finish.
Throughout the ages the hand is regarded as a symbol of protection, power and strength. The hand has become one of the most popular shapes of amulets and talismans that are meant to ward off evil, disease, envy and distraction. Throughout history, the open palm has been associated with truth, honesty and openness. There are more nerve endings in the human hand than in any other part of the body, which renders them the most useful, effective and powerful parts of our body.
I currently have several sizes in stock. The open design makes them slightly adjustable up to a half size. Please convo me for available sizes in bronze and sterling. Please allow 10-14 days for fabrication in a different size.
