Fit For A Queen Earrings, Vintage Glass Crown
I couldn't resist these unusual and adorable vintage glass crown cabochons from the 1940s. Unique and whimsical earrings are adorned with a crown design in red, black, and yellow. The cabochons are in hand-soldered sterling silver settings that have been oxidized to a darkened gunmetal color. These vintage cabochons have a shabby chic look which adds to their character and charm, and are completely handmade in my Chicago studio.
The Crown (or the reigning monarch) as the symbol of the power and authority of a monarchy. Crown represents power, glory, immortality, royalty and sovereignty.
Earrings measure 3/4" at widest point, and 1 3/8" long.
