Hexagon Azurite Malachite Necklace
This one of a kind gemstone is a gorgeous azurite malachite in a unique hexagon shape. A combination of two different gemstones, it combines the deep blue of azurite and the emerald green of malachite, with copper striations running through it. The hexagon stone is prong-set and soldered in sterling silver onto a wire base. The small oval azurite stone echoes the azurite oval in the hexagon, and is bezel-set. The necklace has an oval bale, and hangs from an 18" sterling silver cable chain with a secure sterling lobster clasp. The silver has been oxidized to a rich gunmetal color with bronze highlights. Completely handmade in my Chicago studio and one of a kind; this is a stunning pendant.
Azurite malachite is considered a stone of transformation and is thought to enhance creativity and intuition. The combination is said to provide a grounding and healing energy, to release negative emotions, and to enhance self-awareness, creativity, and communication.
Pendant measures .75" at widest point, and 2" high, including bale. Total length of necklace is 21" long.
