Mod Lily Hoop Earrings, Bronze or Sterling Silver
Flower power. Mod Lily flowers carved in wax and hand-cast in solid nickel-free bronze or sterling silver using lost-wax casting. Hand-formed sterling silver hoop ear wires.
I start with a wax model, and then a plaster mold is made from the wax. Liquid metal is poured into the mold and heated in a kiln to create the final product, which is then tumbled, tumbled, and tumbled again. These earrings have been buffed to a soft brushed finish with a subtle shine.
Earrings can be cast in bronze or sterling silver. Please allow 10-14 days for casting in bronze and sterling silver. Measures about 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" at the widest point.
