Snakeskin Copper Enamel Bracelet
This copper bracelet is hand-cut from copper sheet that is embossed with a snakeskin pattern. The metal has been lightly curved to fit comfortably over the wrist. Several layers of beautiful green and transparent enamel are applied to the bracelet and each layer is kiln-fired. Beautifully iridescent, with the snakeskin pattern showing through, it adds a pop of color and an edge to your look.
The copper shapes are cleaned and prepared in order to accept the enamel. Then, I apply multiple layers of enamel, which is finely powdered glass. The layers of enamel are fused to the copper on both sides in a 1500 degree kiln. This firing process is repeated several times. Finally, the edges are sanded to expose the copper. And voila .... a vibrantly colored enamel bracelet which will make a great gift for yourself or a loved one.
Bracelet pendant piece measures 2 1/4"long x 1/2"wide. Vintage copper cable chain and lobster clasp. Total length is 7 1/2". Convo me if you would like the chain adjusted.
