I revamped a vintage brass Victorian snake ring into a sterling silver ring with a new setting and a lumlnous Star Sapphire. I've oxidized and polished it to bring out the beautiful details. See the photo showing the sides of the ring with its floral pattern.
Since antiquity, the star sapphire has been regarded as a gemstone imbued with mystery and spiritual power. Its asterism, resembling a shimmering star within the stone, earned it a reputation as a bridge between heaven and earth, a symbol of divine guidance and protection against dark forces.
The top of the ring measures 13/16" long and .75" wide. This ring is a size 6 1/4, but it can be custom-made in any size and with any type of stone. The sapphire stone measures 12x8mm.
