Leaf Relic Pendant, Sterling Silver Necklace With Embossed Fern Leaf
This pendant was originally created in fine silver using an actual fern leaf. Uneven edges give the piece a rustic and organic feeling. I've cast it in sterling silver using the lost wax process, and riveted my own hand stamped, leaf-patterned, sterling silver bail at the top. Then I oxidize the piece to bring out the detail in the leaf and the bail, and polish to a matte finish. The result is a stunning and versatile pendant that works as well with a t-shirt and jeans as it does with a special dress.
Pendant with bale measures just under 3" long and 1 1/8" wide. Hangs on an oxidized silver chain with lobster clasp. Total length of pendant is about 30" long. You may also select a sterling silver chain with sterling lobster clasp.
