This coloful striped stone is called Surfite, eco-friendly stones made from surfboards! The Surfite stones mix transparent and opaque stripes in a rainbow of colors. They're created from the layered, hardened excess resin that is the byproduct of surfboard manufacturing, keeping the excess out of landfills.
This rare, one of a kind Surfite pair of stones are set with unique half-round prongs and soldered in sterling silver onto a wire base, with hand-formed sterling silver ear wires that are longer in the back. The Surfite stones mix transparent and opaque stripes in a rainbow of colors. Completely handmade in my Chicago studio and one of a kind; this is a stunning pair of earrings.
The earrings measure 1 3/8" in the front, and the longer ear wire measures 1 3/4". Width is 3/8".
