This coloful striped stone is called Surfite, an eco-friendly stone made from surfboards! The Surfite stones mix transparent and opaque stripes in a rainbow of colors. They're created from the layered, hardened excess resin that is the byproduct of surfboard manufacturing, keeping the excess out of landfills.
This rare, one of a kind Surfite stone is set with unique sterling silver prongs of graduated lengths on each side, and soldered onto a comfortable half-round sterling silver ring band. Completely handmade in my Chicago studio and one of a kind; this is a stunning ring.
The ring measures 1 1/8" long, and 3/8" wide. The band measures about 3mm wide. The ring is a size 7.
