Tentacles Pendant, Octopus, Lace Agate Bead
Like a beautiful relic from the sea, this octopus tentacle pendant has great detail and texture. It is carefully hand-cast in sterling silver using lost-wax casting. I've added a beautiful lace agate bead. Each pendant is oxidized and hand-polished to enhance detail and to achieve a highlighted shine. Edgy, but great for everyday too.
Octopuses have a complex nervous system, and excellent sight and sense of touch, and are among the mot intelligent of all invertebrates.
The spirit of the octopus, considered to have extremely powerful psychic abilities, symbolizes strong intuition. As the octopus resides in the depths of the ocean, it is often equated with deep emotions. Some other spiritual traits associated with the octopus totem are focus, intellect, talent, and complexity.
Lace Agate is called the Laughter Stone, or "Happy Lace." It is associated with good times, and brings joy to those who wear it. It is not a stone of protection, but of support and encouragement, elevating thoughts and promoting optimism. Its graceful design, in random lacy patterns, creates a circular flow of energy, stimulating for the mind and attitude.
