Victorian Button Earrings, Sterling Silver
These earrings are hand-cast from real Victorian buttons using lost-wax casting. I've added handmade sterling silver chain and ear wires. With their intricate, lacy filigree pattern, these earrings make an effortless statement and go with anything.
I start with a wax model, and then a plaster mold is made from the wax. Liquid metal is poured into the mold and heated in a kiln to create the final product, which is then tumbled, tumbled, and tumbled again until shiny.
Earrings measure 2 5/8" long, and about 5/8" in diameter.
Please allow 7-10 days for casting of your custom-made earrings.
